rolling bearings

rolling bearings

Rolling bearings consist of rolling elements (balls or rollers) between the inner and outer rings, and operate using rolling friction. They are broadly classified as ball bearings or roller bearings by the type of rolling element used, and are available in two types depending on the direction of the load being supported, as radial bearings that support radial loads, and thrust bearings that support axial loads.

MHG Bearing Factory is a professional rolling bearing manufacturer and supplier. Our rolling bearings have passed the evaluations of ISO 9001:2001 quality management system.

types of rolling bearings

The most typical type of bearing, these are used in a wide range of fields. They include open, sealed and shield bearings for ease of use.

  • single-row
  • double-row
  • miniature series
  • inch series
  • flange
  • chrom steel,stainless steel,ceramic,high temperature

Self-aligning ball bearings have a spherical surface with a point at which the center of the outer ring track surface matches the center of the bearing, and the inner ring has a two-row track groove.

  • standard double-row
  • extended inner ring
  • open and sealed
  • nylon,brass,steel cage

Cylindrical roller bearings use rollers as the rolling elements and have a high load capacity. The rollers are guided by the ribs of the inner or outer ring. The inner and outer rings can be separated to facilitate assembly, and both can be fitted tightly.

  • single-row:N,NU,NJ,NF,NUP,NCF
  • double-row:NN,NNU,SL
  • four-row

Spherical roller bearings have an outer ring with a spherical track surface, and an inner ring that encloses two rows of barrel-shaped rolling elements.

  • open and sealed
  • CARB
  • split
  • CC,CA,E,EAE4,MB

In these ball bearings, the direct line that connects the inner ring, balls, and outer ring has a given angle in the radial direction (the contact angle).

  • single-row
  • double-row
  • four-point angular contact ball bearings
  • precision

Tapered roller bearings are designed so the inner and outer ring raceway and the apex of the tapered rollers intersect at one point on the bearing centerline.

  • single-row
  • double-row
  • four-row
  • flange
  • metric and inch

Thrust ball bearings have balls enclosed in a cage between the shaft raceway washer that corresponds to the inner ring, and the housing raceway washer that corresponds to the outer ring. They can bear only single-direction axial loads.

  • single direction
  • double direction
  • miniature series
  • metric and inch

Thrust roller bearings use  rollers. They can bear high axial loads.

  • cylindrical roller thrust bearings
  • spherical roller thrust bearings
  • tapered roller thrust bearings

Thin section ball bearings are a family of bearings designed from a limited number of widths and thicknesses (cross sections), with each cross section manufactured in a wide range of bore diameters.

  • thin section radial ball bearings
  • thin section angular contact ball bearings
  • thin section four point angular contact ball bearings
  • inch and metric
  • chrome steel,stainless steel

Crossed roller bearing is a special type bearing with split inner ring and rotating outer ring.

  • crossed cylindrical roller bearings
  • crossed tapered roller bearings

Slewing bearings comprise an inner ring and an outer ring, one of which usually incorporates a gear.

  • four point angular contact ball slewing bearings
  • crossed roller slewing bearings
  • triple row roller slewing bearings
